Tax Court Representation
Tax Court is not as scary as it sounds. As a taxpayer, you have the right to use Tax Court to make yourself heard (regarding tax matters) when all other avenues seem to have come to a dead end.
After working with you on a potential CRA issue, if we find that an issue cannot be resolved through appealing to a human being at CRA or through the use of common sense and the provision of documents, we will often proceed to a tax court filing. The burden of proof is somewhat lower at the court level; whereas CRA will not accept credit card statements in many cases, the court will.
This will also work hand-in-hand with our forensic tax services.
